Course Description

The program is directed towards new adult players who are eager to learn. No matter your age or how little ice hockey experience you possess, all you need is willingness to learn and improve. Ron believes this attitude is essential to succeed at his school! You will learn fundamental skills: skating (forwards and backwards), starting/stopping, handling the puck, passing and shooting. Technical drills will be used to teach and improve these skills. Several scrimmages will be played during the program to teach basic game knowledge and positioning.

The school will consist of approximately 20 skaters. This small size ensures you will receive necessary coaching time and feedback from Ron and his instructors. Their goal is for you to improve your skills so you can begin or continue to enjoy playing hockey!

Roller Hockey Players

As a hockey mom watching from the sideline I was very apprehensive to take hockey school since I was in my 40’s and could not even skate. Coach Ron made learning fun, comfortable and challenging. His encouragement resulted in my participation in two hockey school sessions and I now am confidently enjoying playing with multiple hockey leagues.
